Places to Visit in Devon
There are some uniquely beautiful places to visit in Devon, these places range from some of the best beaches in the UK to breathe taking rugged coastlines or some wonderful wild countryside to explore, if the coastline or country side doesn’t interest you then there are the cities of Plymouth or Exeter that may be more up your street.
Devon has a wide range of experiences to offer from the commercialized south coast around Torquay or Paignton to the rural country side around Mid Devon or North Devon, there’s enough to whet anybody’s appetite.
To help you see some of the beautiful places to visit in Devon I’ve included a map for you to look at, the map contains various red pushpins showing the places that have been visited whilst developing this website, please check back soon as more places are regularly added.
Map navigation
On the above map are various blue pushpins in the places that we have visited whilst developing Discovering Devon, if you move your mouse cursor over the pushpin you are interested in, a post card will pop up, on the post card click the picture, title or the click here message and this will take you to more information about that area.
If you would like to look at a different place then just move your mouse cursor to a different pushpin.
You can use this map to explore the world, look for new places you’d like to visit, so if at any point you get lost and want to return to Devon then all you have to do is refresh the page.
I hope you enjoy.
