Lundy Island

Lundy Island

Lundy Island is a beautiful undisturbed natural island that is situated about 11 miles off the coast of North Devon, during the summer mouths the
MS Oldenburg transports visitors from Bideford or Ilfracombe to the island, the cruise is a wonderful peaceful crossing depending on the weather and takes about two hours.

When you arrive at Lundy you will be over come by the tranquil peaceful nature of the island, if you’re visiting Lundy for a few moments of relaxation, then you have defiantly found the place for this.

If you’re a bit more adventurous then there are various activities available to do, these include rock climbing or diving in the Marine Nature Reserve.

If you are looking for some more gentle pursuits then you can just relax by exploring the island and visiting some of it’s 23 Landmarks or watching some of it wonderful birds and wildlife.

If you’re on holiday in Devon and looking for a place of outstanding natural beauty that includes a wonderful cruise then a visit to Lundy Island is a must, whether you’re just visiting or are planning to stay longer for a few days then I’m sure you won’t be disappointed, the only time you will be disappointed is when it comes time for you to leave.
